Written for 2 Euphoniums and 2 Tubas by Michael Forbes.  This quasi-rock ballad was composed in 1996.  It was written with the intent of representing a visual colour with an aural art form.  In addition to the lush harmonies, pointillistic entrances and eloquent solo passages, the sonority of the euphonium and tuba adds colour to the placid textures.
